Martina started dancing at the age of ten. She used to take private ballet lessons, until she entered - with already a good technical background - The National Dance School (Escuela Nacional de Danzas), where she studied subjects like Theory and Solfege, Art, and Contemporary Dance.
Her teachers were Wasil Tupin and Mercedes Serrano.
She also studied ballet techniques at the Colón Theatre as well as other supplementary subjects like Musical Interpretation.
In 1990, she got her degree as a Ballet Teacher , which was awarded by 'Conservatorio Beethoven'
Her training continued with Professor Alfredo Gurkel and her Contemporary Dance Instructor is Monica Fracchia.
She began her professional career as a ballet dancer of chamber music at different theatres in Buenos Aires, performing classical plays like the Swan Lake, Classical Symphony, and dancing in operas like La Traviata, Il Trovattore and L'Elisir D'Amore.
She took part in the Second Festival of Novel Composers and Interpreters - Argentine Dance Council- UNESCO, performing 'Verdiana' by G. Verdi.
Professionally, Martina improved even more by working as a supporting dancer, at the Colón Theatre, in plays such as 'Don Quixote', 'The Nutcracker', 'Giselle', 'Copellia' and in opera dances like 'Parsifal', 'Lucía de Lamermoor', 'Aida', 'Cinderella', etc.
Her first approach to TANGO took place when she was offered to travel to Japan - even though she still did not know how to dance tango. On this occasion, she decided to study this pending subject. Her teachers in this field were Efrain Ordoñez, Gustavo Naveira, Los Dinzel and Nito & Elba.
She took part in the film 'Convivencia' starring José Sacristán and with Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestra.
She was chosen for the film 'Evita', starring Madonna and directed by Alan Parker.
In 1997, Martina takes part in a commercial with the dancer Efrain Ordoñez for Telefónica -Spain, to advertise cellular phones.
Martina made a documentary for the BBC Television World Spanish and attended the Book Exhibition on behalf of Los Dinzel.
Under the auspices of the National Secretary of Culture, the designer Horace Lannes called Martina to model the dresses worn by TANGO STARS like Tita Merello and Susana Rinaldi, at Palais de Glace.
In 2007, Martina has delivered classes of Contemporary Dance for Teenagers at the 'School of Dance and Art'- Lomas de Zamora, Province of Buenos Aires.
